National Catfish Derby - A six-week fishing rodeo celebrating the "Catfish Capital of the World." Events include the Catfish Derby Fair, a catfish and hushpuppy cookoff, biggest catfish contest and the World Championship of Catfishing. Tennessee River and several other locations. Victorian Christmas Celebration - Come see Savannah decorated in all its Christmas splendor as the historic district and downtown area are decorated and lighted for the Christmas season. Take a guided tour of the luminary-lit historic district with Father Christmas. Enjoy carriage rides and historic homes tours. NAIA National Football Championship - National championship game between the top two National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) teams in the nation. 		Theater Activities The Dreamweavers of West Tennessee produce several performances each year...comedy, drama, musicals and more, using local actors. The performances are held at the Savannah Theater behind the courthouse in Savannah. Bluegrass music can be heard all over Hardin County and several music festivals are held in Hardin and McNairy Counties, including the Tennessee River Bluegrass Festival each July 4th weekend. These are several other arts activities that take place throughout the year such as musical performances, art displays, arts and crafts shows, and much more.
